WHO: Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties’ Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, together with Dr. Brennan Asplen, will host its annual Superintendent’s Forum, bringing together more than 70 teens representing seven local high schools.
WHAT: The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, a youth-led Board made up of teens and alumni from Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties’ STAR Leadership Training Program, will host more than 70 teens from seven local high schools who will participate in open discussions with Dr. Asplen and designated school district officials. The Forum’s overall goal is to identify challenges, propose solutions, and prioritize focus areas for improving the high school experience.
