Identifying Prospects in Your Own Database

SARASOTA, Fla. – March 21, 2022 – The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-SWFL) presents Identifying Prospects in Your Own Database: How to Find Prospects with Linkage, Interest and Ability with Jen Filla, CEO, Aspire Research Group on April 12, 2022, doors open at 11:30 a.m., program begins at noon. Virtual option is also available.

If you have ever struggled to identify major and planned gift prospects, or simply want to generate a solid call list to ask donors to upgrade their gift this year, join Jen Filla for a candid discussion on prospect identification. She will use the framework of linkage, interest, and ability to demonstrate how you can succeed at finding great prospects at any gift level.

After this session, participants will be able to:

  • Define the “standard” criteria for their unique constituency
  • Apply the criteria to pulling initial donor prospect lists from the database
  • Apply the criteria to in-person qualification

Jennifer Filla is a veteran fundraiser with a focus on prospect research. As CEO of Aspire Research Group LLC, she helps organizations connect with their best donor prospects. With the right information, Aspire believes that nonprofit fundraising professionals can connect more deeply with donors, include more donors, and fulfill their mission.

Jen also leads the Prospect Research Institute, which trains fundraising intelligence officers. She is co-author of “Prospect Research for Fundraisers: The Essential Handbook” and numerous other research workbooks and has served as a volunteer and board member for a variety of organizations, including the AFP Tampa Bay chapter.

This program is for all fundraisers and database managers. RSVP today at  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/identifying-prospects-in-your-own-database-tickets-246250450727.
