
OSPREY, FL (March 17, 2022) Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast is delighted to host the Sarasota Nature Printers and their exhibit, Nature’s Artistry. Nature printing is an ancient art form that uses a variety of techniques to create art from materials found in nature. The Sarasota Nature Printers are a local chapter of the Nature Printing Society and meet monthly, October through March, creating nature prints on various substrates including paper, fabric, clothing, linens, silk, rugs, tile, wood, leather, and clay. Featuring the work of 12 different artists, Nature’s Artistry promises to be a unique art experience for the nature lover.
The exhibit’s opening reception is Tuesday, April 5 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Conservation Foundation’s headquarters, Bay Preserve at Osprey, in the Burrows-Matson House, 400 Palmetto Avenue. Artwork will be available for purchase with a portion of proceeds benefitting Conservation Foundation.
Live demonstrations and sales at Bay Preserve will continue April 6 and 7.
