ST. LEO, FL – Saint Leo University is continuing to elevate the dialogue around mission-driven leadership by welcoming the public to a free event featuring Nick DeMarinis, vice president of sales at WeWork and a former LinkedIn executive. The Mission-Driven Leaders: Conversations on Purpose program will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, in Saint Leo University’s Greenfelder-Denlinger Boardrooms and online via Zoom.

DeMarinis, who is a Saint Leo University alumnus, has been with WeWork, a commercial real estate company, providing flexible workspaces, for three years. Prior to becoming the vice present of sales, he held a position as director of enterprise accounts based in New York City. DeMarinis started his career in tech sales at Yahoo and then spent eight years with LinkedIn in various leadership roles across both North America and Asia Pacific.

The Mission-Driven Leaders: Conversations on Purpose program will feature an interactive, interview-style conversation with DeMarinis, who will share his experience in leading with compassion and serving others. The event will coincide with Saint Leo University’s Business Week, which offers a variety of events and activities to help prepare students for business careers. During DeMarinis’ visit, students also will have the opportunity to engage in small group conversations with him to obtain career advice and gain insights into the business world.

Registration is required to attend the event at Saint Leo University (33701 State Road 52, St. Leo, FL 33574) or via Zoom at saintleo.edu/mdl.

COVID-19 protocols: Masks will be required by all individuals while indoors. This guidance is required regardless of whether the individual is vaccinated.
