
Tampa, Fla. – University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation)’s Get Moving Program is offering free cooking classes at its Harvest Hope Center, 13704 N. 20th Street, Tampa, 33613.
Food is flexible and the goal of Let’s Get Cookin’ is to showcase the versatility of every ingredient, including fresh vegetables picked right from our Harvest Hope Community Garden. Participants can expect to learn how to incorporate fresh produce into their meals in a way that will not only satisfy their tastebuds, but give them energy.
Classes occur from 10 to 11 a.m. every other Friday on the dates listed below. There is no cost to attend.

Classes coincide with community gardening that takes place Friday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Harvest Hope Community Garden. This programming is provided by the University Area CDC’s Get Moving! program to provide a holistic approach to health and wellness.
