Creative Loafing partners with Tampa Bay area restaurants and WUSF on Tampa Bay Taco Week 2022

Taco Week will run from Thurs., March 31st, through Sun., April 10th


(March 1, 2022 – Tampa, Fla.) — Join Creative Loafing, WUSF Public Media, and local Tampa Bay area restaurants for Tampa Bay Taco Week, featuring 10 days of exclusive dine-in and takeout taco and drink specials on beer, tequila, and more from Thurs., March 31st, through Sun., April 10th.

How it works: Each participating restaurant will offer a taco special, plus deals on Corona beer, Hornitos and Tres Generaciones tequila, Zing Zang cocktails, and more at select locations. A full list of locations and special details, ordering information, a map, social media contest info, and how to vote on Tampa Bay’s Ultimate Taco will be available at tampabaytacoweek.com

This year, CL is excited to be partnering with WUSF Public Media on Taco Week and a portion of proceeds will benefit the nonprofit. WUSF Public Media is a comprehensive media organization that provides media services to the community and businesses through public broadcasting and multi-media production services. Licensed to the University of South Florida, WUSF Public Media serves the public interest through programming, educational outreach and community partnerships. WUSF Public Media’s mission is to provide meaningful and relevant content that enhances our community’s quality of life. The high quality programming they provide has been a valuable resource in our community for 50 years. They are committed to providing creative, entertaining, responsive, educational and trustworthy programming and dedicated to serving our listeners and viewers for years to come.

Those taking advantage of Taco Week specials can share a photo of their Taco Week experience on Instagram to be automatically entered to win gift certificates from select Taco Week restaurants + $400 in CL Deals.

Here’s how to enter:

Step 1. Take a photo of your delicious Taco Week experience: tacos, drinks, fiesta!

Step 2. Post your photo on Instagram by tagging your location for takeout or dine-in.

Step 3. Tag @cltampabay & use the hashtag #TampaBayTacoWeek

Step 4. Share your photo to be automatically entered to win!

Each location you visit and tag on Instagram automatically gets you an additional entry into the contest. Winner will be chosen at random and DMed via Instagram after Taco Week ends.

Plus, Creative Loafing is letting you decide who you think makes Tampa Bay’s Ultimate Taco. All participating locations are up for the coveted title. Voting for the 2022 Ultimate Taco begins at 9 a.m. on Thurs., March 31st.

To take advantage of Tampa Bay Taco Week from March 31st through April 10th, all you have to do is ask for the Taco Week special. Participating locations and complete special details, including takeout, delivery, ordering options, and more will be available prior to March 31st.
