LAKE NONA – After closing on a 35.94-acre parcel near Simpson Road, M/I Homes has started site construction to make way for 318 townhomes that will become the Tyson Ranch community.
Located at Boggy Creek Road and Highclere Street, Tyson Ranch will offer three- and four-bedroom townhomes priced from the mid-$300,000s, according to David Byrnes, area president for M/I Homes.
“We plan to start construction on a model in April and begin sales at Tyson Ranch in May,” he said. While the community is taking shape, Byrnes said prospective home buyers may want to take SR 417 to visit similar models at the homebuilder’s Towns at White Cedar community in Sanford, or view the models online at www.mihomes.com.
Five floorplans – ranging from 1,379 to 1,846 square feet with either a one- or two-car garage – will be offered. Byrnes said, a sixth plan is being created specifically for Tyson Ranch that will be unveiled as soon as sales start in May.
Features of the new community will include a first-floor bedroom and bathroom, a tankless water heater, a one-year customer care warranty, and a 10-year warranty on any construction defects.
“We believe this will be a very popular community as the location is adjacent to the Medical City employment hub and only minutes from Orlando International Airport and the Lake Nona/Narcoossee Road corridor.”
