
Tampa, FL –02/19/2022 – Tampa Bay Tamil Academy (TBTA) announced today that the Tamil Virtual Academy (TVA, Erstwhile Tamil Virtual University) has approved TBTA as one of their “Contact Centers” in fostering Tamil Educations, Art, Culture Research, and other Tamil language related services. TVA and TBTA has made a historical agreement through an established MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) on 11th January 2022. Through this MOU, TBTA will serve as a Nodal Contact Center of TVA for providing services for enrolment of Tampa Bay residents to learn and earn Tamil Language degree, diploma, or certificate courses offered by the Tamil Virtual University.
It is indeed a great honor for TBTA to be recognized as one of the Contact Centers of TVA said Dr. Sesha Srinivasan, Secretary of TBTA and the Head of the TVA Contact Center. This recognition will enable TBTA to provide services to our local community in terms of student enrollment, conducting exams, and distribution of degrees, diplomas, and Certificates from the TVA. This unparalleled recognition and the MOU approval by the TVA will motivate the TBTA to better serve our kids, and adults to acquire foreign language skills, especially in one of the classical languages, Tamil is very welcoming, commended by the President of TBTA, Mr. Raja Vairamuthu.
The Assistant Director of Education, TVA has congratulated TBTA for successful MOU, via the letter of communication dated January 29, 2022. With this MOU and the Contact Center Status, the Assistant Director of Education anticipates that our community from Tampa Bay will get benefited by enrolling in TVA’s virtual degree or diploma or certificate programs. Dr. Srinivasan, Secretary of TBTA wish to record his thanks to Mr. Suseendran of TVA for his continuous support in making this international MOU plausible.
