TAMPA, FLORIDA, February 2022: Perched 42 floors above Tampa in the heart of downtown sits Tampa’s premier private business and social club, The Tampa Club. Since its inception in 1981, The Tampa Club has become a diverse and inclusive club with a sophisticated approach to dining and service. To commemorate its 40th anniversary, The Tampa Club is unveiling a $1.7M interior renovation, an outdoor terrace, and a fresh new look. As the community recovers from the pandemic, the Club has doubled down on its mission of connecting members and guests in an unmatched reserved space. The highlight is dining outside on the 42nd floor, with 180-degree views of Tampa. The spectacular height of the outdoor terrace makes The Tampa Club the highest outdoor private dining experience in America. The Tampa Club will debut its new look at an exclusive launch party on February 23.
“We have designed a Club that meets members where they are in their day and their stage of life. From this renovation, we have elevated where the leaders of yesterday, today, and tomorrow can connect and enjoy themselves,” comments Tim Jarrett, General Manager of The Tampa Club and Partner with BNG Hospitality, owner of The Tampa Club.
“In the last year, The Club has seen significant growth in membership. A consistent reason for joining has been to have a place to socially connect, in a reserved space, while experiencing unmatched food and beverage offerings. I believe people are ready to get back to being around each other in a unique environment, and the members have shown this through their support in the project. We are humbled by our members’ generosity and devotion in making our Club one of the top clubs figuratively and literally in the United States. We are excited about this next chapter and can’t wait to see what the next 40 years bring.”
The 8,000+ square foot transformation includes the expansion of the Grille, the Main Dining Room, and the new outdoor terrace. The Main Dining Room, now called The Canopy Ballroom, highlights Tampa’s recognition as the top tree city in the World. The Grille, renamed View42 for the 42nd floor and the Tampa skyline view, has undergone a massive remodel, including an expanded white quartzite bar top surrounded by 21 seats. Other additions include two new meeting spaces, cosmetic updates to the restrooms and event space, and a new co-working space with a southern view of Downtown Tampa, including Harbor and Davis Islands. On a clear day, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
To pay homage to its historical roots, The Tampa Club will highlight Tampa’s history in elements of its decor while keeping a contemporary feel. In addition to the massive renovation, The Tampa Club has remastered its logo displaying the iconic Tampa skyline with a modern twist.
As membership at The Tampa Club continues to grow, now is the time to join as The Club inches closer to a membership count of 1,000 members. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a member, please visit thetampaclub.com/membership.
