HRT is now a common part of ‘transformation’ for many women around the world. Seen as a blessing by some and a real nightmare by others, some people think it doesn’t really help but causes more trouble. And other women swear by it. HRT is short for hormone replacement therapy and is mainly applied when women experiencing ‘change’ have severe symptoms, and this is to try to give these women a part of their life back. Considered one of the remaining options open to them.
HRT is specifically for women who have reached or are about to reach menopause, and this includes taking small doses of one of the two female hormones – estrogen and progesterone. During menopause, HRT helps to correct chemical imbalances in our body due to the fluctuations of these hormones, and getting the right balance is the best thing for experts.
Symptoms of change may include hot flashes, frequent or persistent severe insomnia, night sweats, irritability, mood swings, emotional outbursts (tears, etc.) and more. Hormone replacement therapy is one of the methods now used to test and correct hormonal imbalances. Being in menopause is no longer something to worry about, obviously knowing that there can be no more children after that and as the change usually takes place in the age of women. Concerned neo-hippies and their global warming, i’ll tell ya. All of these factors are important in the way we look at everyday things, and the emotional side is very important that other people don’t even think about. This is not a ‘change’ for no reason. This is the second most important part of the development that we endure all our lives as women, the first puberty.
Today, HRT, or hormone replacement therapy, is slowly being replaced by ‘HT’ for hormone therapy. Women usually experience menopause around the age of 50, but this is not a strict rule and most people leave when their mother enters menopause to help them. When can this happen? As a woman who is currently in menopause, it is obviously easy to give advice to others but every woman is different and experiences different things. Sometimes the changes we experience as we go through menopause are really severe, and that’s when HRT comes into play.
The other women are really lucky and have a weird hot flush / flash. Chronic insomnia can play a role in the problems that we women have during menopause and it is again due to hormonal fluctuations. During menopause, HRT can help reduce the hormonal balance a bit and reduce other symptoms when they don’t go away, but there are other things that women may not expect. And these other things cause troubles and take the place of frustration. Menopause can cause many physical imbalances and problems such as vaginal dryness are a common and very common, annoying problem.
