The Ramos Center for Interventional & Functional Pain Medicine is starting off 2022 by welcoming Nationally Certified Physician’s Assistant, Joshua Beasley, to their already comprehensive and diverse team of advanced practicing providers. Joshua Beasley will be treating Ramos Center patients in their Sarasota and Port Charlotte locations.
Joshua Beasley earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida in 2012. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he stayed in Gainesville, Fl and attended the School for Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
After his graduation from PA School in 2015, he moved to the west coast of Florida and began his career working in Infectious Disease, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic infections in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Following his time working in Infectious Disease, Beasley began specializing in Orthopedic conditions which evolved to a focus on Interventional Pain Medicine during the past four years in Venice, Fl. His diverse experience has given him a passion for the senior community, specifically those who suffer from chronic pain. When asked about the most rewarding aspects of his career, Beasley explained, “I enjoy building rapport with patients, and I am encouraged and inspired by seeing their improvements while helping them on their journey back to functionality and improving their quality of life.”
When Founder and Medical Director, Dr. Fabian Ramos, was asked to speak about this new hire he replied, “I am excited to continue to grow our team of advanced practicing providers, allowing us to expand our services and treat more patients in the communities we serve and beyond.”

Founded over 22 years ago by Dr. Fabian A. Ramos, DABA, DABPM, DABIPP, FIPP the Ramos Center for Interventional and Functional Pain Medicine opened its Bradenton doors in January of 2000. Dr. Ramos and his team of skilled Providers and Staff offer a wide range of state-of-the-art treatment options to relieve their patients’ chronic pain that include Medical and Interventional procedures, Cognitive Behavioral and Hypnotherapy, and Physical Therapy. Dr. Ramos saw the need to expand his multi-modality approach to treating chronic pain and in 2005, the Ramos Center opened a second office location in Sarasota, FL, followed by a third office location in Venice, FL in January of 2019. In 2021, they continued their southern and norther expansions into Englewood, Port Charlotte, and Dunedin, FL. At the end of Q1 2022, the Ramos Center will open their seventh office on Central Ave in St. Petersburg.
