(Bradenton, Fla., Feb. 1, 2022) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) is waiving its application fee for all applications completed during February. Applicants should enter the promotional code “FreeAppFeb” when submitting their application to waive the $20 charge. SCF’s online application is available at SCF.edu/Apply.
The goal of “Free App February” is to encourage prospective students to apply and be accepted to SCF before registration opens for the summer 2022 and fall 2022 semesters. The earlier a student applies and is accepted, the more time they will have to consider what classes, time schedules and course delivery methods will be the best fit for their schedule. Summer registration opens on March 14 and for fall on April 11 for new students.
“Our goal is to reduce barriers for students, with flexible class schedules that include nights and weekends, online course options, financial aid, and for the month of February, no application fee,” said Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management Brittany Nielsen. “This risk-free period to apply for summer and fall enrollment provides students and parents an opportunity to get to know SCF and prepare for a fulfilling college experience.”
