~Michelle Zieziula brings a wealth of experience to CSTB~
TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) has hired Michelle A. Zieziula, MUP, as the workforce agency’s Senior Vice President and Chief Impact Officer. She will report directly to CSTB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) John Flanagan. Zieziula has more than 30 years of experience serving private, education, and public sectors through manufacturing, university, economic, and workforce development forums.
She brings with her more than 20 years of experience in the workforce sector. She served as the CEO of a Workforce Development Board for 13 years, as the Regional Director of Operations in the Philadelphia Workforce System where she provided oversight and management of programs supporting business and job seeker services and as a Senior Consultant for Public Consulting Group, Inc., serving as a subject matter expert for local regional, state, and national government nonprofits.

Zieziula has provided consultation to management and leaders in the workforce development arena most recently in Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Missouri, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois, Colorado, and Rhode Island for determining strategic and operational effectiveness. She specialized in innovative solutions, organizational behavior and design approaches and large group facilitations, developed cross-functional and shared leadership teams, convened, and worked with sector-based initiatives, created technology-based solutions for workforce systems, and designed data-focused operational strategies.
“I am excited to announce that I have joined the CareerSource Tampa Bay team in an executive leadership role,” said Zieziula. I will be supporting the CEO in strategic direction, system expansion from a revenue generation and technology capacity, and creating and fostering innovation and programming for the organization. I am always open to strategic partnerships and collaborations and look forward to finding mutually beneficial ways to serve our employers and labor force.”
Ms. Zieziula has been awarded numerous distinctions for her work and that of her organizations including: the National Association of Workforce Boards, 2007 Theodore E. Small Distinguished Honoree for commitment to the advancement of a competitive American workforce; Economic Development Corporation Excellence Award for the creation of substantial job opportunities through capital investment in Erie, PA, and Women’s Roundtable 2012 Woman of the Year Finalist.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Environmental Design and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the School of Architecture & Planning at the State University of New York at Buffalo, with dual Certificates of Specialization in Urban Design and Community and Economic Development Planning. She carries additional certifications for Effective Facilitator, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP for Business) and Sectoral Strategies.
