The Krewe of Europa®, a Tampa based 501c3 social and philanthropy organization with members across the United States and many other countries has been invited to the “St Patrick’s Parade in Boston Mass” March 20th,, 2022. The Boston Parade is the second largest St Patrick’s Parade in the world with well over 1,000,000 spectators in attendance and also broadcasted on New England Cable News across the six state region.
“Each participating organization must align with the parade requirements of being historic or representing Irish American history. Bostonians were the first to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in North America. On March 17, 1737, as a gesture of solidarity among the city’s new Irish immigrants, Boston’s Irish community joined together in festivities of their homeland and to honor the memory of the below Patron Saint of Ireland. Krewe of Europa was selected because of their theme of representing The Age of Discovery, also known as the Age of Exploration and the Great Navigation’s, a period in European history from the early 15th century to the early 19th century. A period in history that influenced the start of the new nation”
Europa was formed by global group of professionals that wanted to bring krewe life to the global stage by following their motto of “Bringing Our Small World Together”. Europa travels to major parades across the globe including St Patrick’s in Dublin Ireland and also participates in several Gulf Coast major parades.
