Together with the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation, we are pleased to announce Bemetra Simmons, new President and CEO of the Tampa Bay Partnership, as the Headliner for our February luncheon.
Tampa Bay Partnership has had a far-reaching impact on our area through its transportation, workforce, and racial equity initiatives. Appointed to the top spot in September, Ms. Simmons will share how the Partnership aims to unite the diverse voices and interests within our region and improve the well-being of our residents and businesses.
Ms. Simmons previously served as the chief strategy and operations officer for United Way Suncoast. In assuming this lead role with the Partnership, she will continue to work closely with United Way Suncoast, most notably as collaborating partners on the State of the Region initiative.
This event will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at the Rosedale Golf & Country Club (5100 87th St E, Bradenton, FL 34211). The cost is $35 for Manatee Chamber members, Manatee Young Professionals members, and EDC investors ($45 at the door).
