Ring In the New Year at the St. Pete Pier with First Night Fireworks, Midnight Ice Skating and More

The NYE festivities at the St. Pete Pier are as follows:


Winter Beach ExPIERience midnight ice skating at Winter Beach paired with the official First Night celebratory fireworks show when the clock strikes 12. Guests will also be able to listen to music from a live DJ starting at 8 p.m. at Spa Beach Park, enjoy festive food trucks and drinks, holiday music, explore the Winter Beach gift shop, as well as a variety of activities from local vendors and artists. 
For those looking to celebrate a little longer, the Winter Beach ice skating rink will have extended hours until 1 a.m. for a special midnight skate featuring a front row seat of the official First Night Fireworks Show.
Admission to Winter Beach is free, however, tickets are on sale for $17, and include 75-minute access to the rink and skate rentals.


First Night FirstKIDS The Pier will also host FirstKIDS events from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. as part of First Night in St. Pete, featuring a fun zone with activities and performers, followed by a special children’s fireworks show at 8 p.m. First Night is the largest family friendly New Year’s Eve Celebration of the Arts in St. Pete. Each year, it brings Art in Unexpected Places to St. Pete, featuring collaborations between local venues, artists and performers in and around downtown St. Pete. 


Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center The Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center will have extended hours until 9 p.m., and will offer free admission to those with a First Night button. The Discovery Center will also offer holiday sunset cruises aboard the floating winter waterland, the festively decorated eco-vessel which will feature educational activities to get everyone in the holiday spirit. Holiday tours will be available daily through January 2.


Pier Teaki St Pete Pier’s premier rooftop destination, Pier Teaki will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Luau Party featuring DJ Mask Off and DJ 808.
