Lakeland, Fla. (Nov. 15, 2021)—Bank of Central Florida, headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, surpassed $1B in assets on Monday, October 25, 2021. This milestone is part of Bank of Central Florida’s growth strategy, Vision 2025.
Bank of Central Florida reached $500,000,000 in assets only two years ago. Its rapid growth can be attributed to its expansion into new markets; over the past five years, Bank of Central Florida has expanded into Winter Haven, Orlando, Plant City, and Tampa Bay.
“To almost double the size of the bank in two years is a testament to the foundation built by the 60 employees who were here in 2019, and accelerated by the 20 employees we’ve hired since then,” said David Moore, President of Bank of Central Florida. “The bank has grown by adding relationships, and fulfilling our mission to our community by providing PPP loans locally.”
Looking forward, Bank of Central Florida plans to further its expansion into new markets while developing new services in its current markets. Bank of Central Florida will continue to hire local Relationship Managers that know their cities’ and their clients’ needs.
Paul Noris, CEO of Bank of Central Florida, said, “Our bank is very excited to reach this milestone. We accomplished this growth by providing a high level of client service … We are thankful to our Board of Directors, employees, and our clients for their continued support.”
