To Honor Veterans, a Free BBQ Event in University Area

WHO:       University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation), Dedicated Senior Medical Center, Simply Healthcare and Prodigy® Cultural Arts

WHAT:     Free Veterans Day Barbecue for the community

WHEN:     Friday, Nov. 12, 12 to 2 p.m.

WHERE:  University Area Park Pavilion, 14013 N. 22nd St., Tampa, FL 33613

DETAILS:  To honor those who have served our country in the military, a full barbecue meal, music, art activities and more will be offered at this free event presented by Dedicated Senior Medical Center, Simply Healthcare and University Area CDC’s Prodigy® Cultural Arts program.

                 Everyone is welcome. RSVP is requested by calling Brenda at 813.521.4782.

                 Serving the community for more than 23 years, University Area CDC provides support for thousands of Tampa residents through holistic programming, adult education and resource assistance. Its primary mission is the redevelopment and sustainability of at-risk neighborhoods in the Uptown/University area, surrounding University of South Florida’s Tampa campus.
