
(Bradenton, Fla., Oct. 14, 2021) — Gov. Ron DeSantis announced on Oct. 8 the appointment of Taylor Collins, Dominic DiMaio and Michael Fuller to the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) District Board of Trustees.
Collins, a Sarasota resident, is the president of Benefits and Planning, Inc. She has served on the Education Foundation of Sarasota Board of Directors and is a member of the Junior League of Sarasota, Argus Foundation and Leadership Florida. Collins earned her bachelor’s degree in risk management from Florida State University.
DiMaio, of Lakewood Ranch, is the President of RITE Technology and has served on the SCF District Board of Trustees since 2017. He is a member of the SCF Foundation Board of Directors, serves on the Bradenton Area Economic Development Council Board of Trustees and is a member of the Boy Scouts of America board. He was previously a member of the Florida Bankers Association Board of Trustees. DiMaio earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA at Widener University.
Fuller, of Bradenton, is a managing partner of Weichel Fuller Financial. He is a member of the SCF Foundation Board of Directors and served as president in 2020-2021. He is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Fuller earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
“The talents and perspectives the new appointees bring to the board are a great benefit for SCF,” said SCF President Dr. Carol F. Probstfeld. “I appreciate the careful consideration Gov. DeSantis provided in selecting individuals of great merit and to the incoming trustees for their willingness to serve.”
