SARASOTA, FL (Wednesday, October 13, 2021) – The Sarasota Music Conservatory (SMC), local nonprofit organization, is pleased to announce their move in November 2021 to a new Downtown Sarasota location at 323 Central Avenue, Sarasota, Florida 34236.
Lena Cambis, SMC’s co-founder and CEO, states that, while they have enjoyed their current location 1693 Main Street, Sarasota, Florida 34236 the move is necessary because of the incredible growth of the Conservatory in the last couple of years. “During the beginning stages of the Pandemic, we were not sure – as were so many business – if we would be able to survive. But, we quickly adapted to online lessons and that worked for us.” she explains. “Then, when we were able to slowly and carefully re-open the school with stringent Covid 19 measures and protocols, our in-person students were excited to return and we also had a lot of new online students as well. We are fortunate that we were able to grow the Conservatory and help students continue to play the instruments they love,” she says.
The new location offers nine individual instruction rooms, along with one additional performance space.
“We love the Rosemary District and already feel like a part of the neighborhood. We can’t wait to grow community support and become more engaged. We love this area,” Cambis says.
The Sarasota Music Conservatory strictly follows the most up-to-date CDC guidelines for Covid safety.
The Sarasota Music Conservatory offers group and private music lessons for students of all ages and levels, in-person and online. Enrollment is offered throughout the year. For more information, call 941.726.3020 or go to sarasotamusicconservatory.org.
