OSPREY, FL (October 7, 2021) Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast welcomes Zen Bee Healing to their Bay Preserve at Osprey headquarters for free community sound baths. The soothing sounds introduced during a sound bath invite the listener to experience a deeper state of consciousness and provide the opportunity to unplug from the hectic stimuli of everyday life. Coupled with the beautiful natural setting of Bay Preserve, the experience is sure to soothe the soul and provide deep relaxation to all who attend.
“In my practice I set specific intentions to create spaces of contemplation, meditation, and relaxation,” says sound healing practitioner, Katie Bucek. “The sounds I envision and facilitate are meant to be vessels, bringing purpose to the notes, energy, and movement of sound waves to connect to mind and source. When experiencing a session, I ask for you to join in with no expectations, no judgements, and no distractions.”
Attendees are asked to bring blankets, pillows, chairs, or whatever supplies will enhance their comfort. All are invited to attend and registration is not required. Please park in the main parking lot upon arrival then walk down the driveway toward the historic Burrows-Matson house. Experiences typically last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
Upcoming dates are as follows:
• Saturday, October 23, 2021, 4:30 pm
• Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 5:30 pm
• Wednesday, November 3, 2021, 5:30 pm
• Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 5:30 pm
“We are delighted to host this free series at Bay Preserve,” notes Suzanne Gregory, director of communications and engagement for Conservation Foundation. “There is a whole body of research that tells us nature heals and these sound baths provide a unique way for people to experience those restorative powers.”
Bay Preserve is located at 400 Palmetto Avenue in Osprey, Florida. This private waterfront oasis on Little Sarasota Bay is protected, owned, and managed by Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast for the public benefit. The grounds are open to the public from sunrise to sunset every day of the week though the park does close occasionally for private events.
