Ann Kulig Announces Retirement

October 2, 2021 by Post

TAMPA, FL (September 30) – Ann Kulig, Executive Director of the Westshore Alliance, has announced her retirement after nearly 20 years with the organization. Kulig joined the Alliance as Marketing Director in 2002 and was appointed Executive Director in 2015.

During her tenure Kulig spearheaded the development of a comprehensive public realm master plan and long-range transportation plan for the Westshore District. A visionary leader, Kulig helped define strategic goals for the organization, launched the first District website and District-wide survey. In 2018, Kulig unveiled a rebranding that brought the organization up to date.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors and employees, we want to thank Ann for her leadership and impact during her almost 2 decades with the organization. Ann has been instrumental in the evolution of the Alliance and has created a dynamic team to continue the work of moving the District forward,” said Pat Kelly, President, Westshore Alliance Board of Directors. “The Board is sincerely grateful to Ann for her dedication to the Westshore District and wishes her all the best in this next chapter.”

“It’s been my privilege to serve the Alliance and work with dedicated board leadership to set the stage for Westshore’s continued growth,” said Kulig. “I’ve had a front row seat to the evolution of the District from strictly an employment center to a true live, work, play destination. The future is bright for the District.”

The Westshore Alliance has begun a search for Kulig’s replacement. Learn more here.
