
Tampa, Fla. – September 29, 2021 – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Tampa Office Managing Shareholder Jason Quintero was appointed to serve on the Tampa Bay Chamber’s board of directors and the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation’s board of trustees.
The Chamber’s primary focus is to promote the businesses and business interests of its members and community. Its board of directors is the policy-making body of the Chamber and they are responsible for maintaining professional relationships with members and other community leaders for determining Chamber policy and involvement.
The Foundation’s mission is to support and promote programs and projects that encourage assistance to the poor, disabled, and disadvantaged, primarily with regard to their legal needs and to educate the public about the legal system. Its board of trustees actively participate in the management of the organization by providing oversight and maintenance of the foundation’s current, short-term, and long-term strategies.
Carlton Fields is a member of the Chamber and Quintero joins the ranks of past Carlton Fields attorney Foundation members who have served on its board. Quintero previously served the Hillsborough County Bar Association as co-chair of its Construction Law Section (2011-2013) and chair of its Programs Committee (2008-2011). In addition to his new roles with the Chamber and Foundation, Quintero serves on the board of directors of Friends of the Joshua House, as a charter member of the Carrollwood Cultural Center, and on the board of directors and as a Cattle Barons’ Ball Underwriting committee member for the American Cancer Society. He was also a member of the Class of 2011 for Leadership Tampa Bay and the Class of 2013 for Leadership Tampa.
Quintero is board certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar and OSHA 30 certified. In his legal practice at Carlton Fields he focuses on all aspects of construction litigation, with an emphasis on lien and bond law and construction defect disputes. He represents a variety of clients involved in every aspect of the construction industry, including large-scale national homebuilders, general contractors, suppliers and lessors, and manufacturers of equipment used in the construction of large-scale projects, including the construction of power plants, stadium and civic centers, and road construction.
