TAMPA, FL – Hillsborough Community College Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Series presents FLOCK dance duo performing “Familiar” on October 8-9 as part of its mission to offer the Tampa Bay Community the opportunity to see cutting-edge work, artists and performances at affordable prices.
Choreographic duo Alice Lock and Florian Lochner, also know as FLOCK, presents an evening exploring the joy, struggle and wonder of deep connection with another being. “Familiar” traces FLOCK’s evolution, emphasizing the comfort of trusting each other and the bravery to quest beyond what we know. This performance is a journey of discovery and asks us to consider what we need to move forward and what we can leave behind.
Performances will be held in the Mainstage Theatre on the Ybor City Campus at 7:30 p.m. Both in-person and virtual tickets will be offered, and masks are expected to be worn at all times while attending the in-person performance.
General and virtual admission tickets are $15. HCC students, faculty and staff receive free admission. For additional information, please visit hccfl.edu/vapaguestseries.
