September 14, 2021 – Heros Downtown Subs and Salads offered their businesses and customers an opportunity to purchase a platter or donate towards supporting a First Responder in our community. 30 local sponsors ordered several platters. Platters were successfully delivered to every Fire Station in Pasco County, 33 in total, which includes our local Port Richey and New Port Richey stations. Delivering also to Pasco County Consolidated Dispatch Center (Both day and night Shifts), and to Pasco County Sheriff’s Office District 1 and District 3, Offices on Saturday, September 11, 2021. West Wind Provisions Boar’s Head along with the local Krewe of Chasco and Krewe de Forti assisted in the deliveries along with other community volunteers.
This was the 20-year mark for the tragic event that occurred in our Country. This event affected our First Responders in every community. We lost almost 3000 people as a result of the attacks. We lost over 412 first responders from the attacks. 343 Firefighters were lost in the attack. Heros along with our customers and local business community wanted to recognize and show our appreciation by bringing them a platter to show our continued support.
“On behalf of our Hero’s Downtown Subs and Salads family, we want to say thank you to all of the community for your support to our First Responders. As a First Responder myself it is very much appreciated, the love our community has to help.”, stated John and Connie Beebe, Owners of Heros Downtown Subs and Salads.
