
Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Marisol Ruiz has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Tampa office.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Marisol was at a regional law firm where she represented clients in a broad range of high-stakes complex commercial litigation, including injury, intellectual property and business tort cases. She has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal jurisdictions. At Fisher Phillips, she will advise businesses on a range of employment-related matters and defend them in litigation.
Marisol is an adjunct professor at Cooley Law School and serves on a variety of committees and specialty bar associations. She is also a compassionate advocate, helping children in foster care and volunteering with Bay Area Legal Services. Marisol earned her J.D. from the University of Florida, where she was honored with a highest grade designation in Juvenile Law Clinic, and earned her B.A. in both criminology and anthropology from the University of Florida.
