
SARASOTA, Fla. (Sept. 16, 2021) – Ian Black Real Estate, Sarasota’s premier commercial real estate brokerage firm, has hired Kim Fitzgerald as sales associate. Fitzgerald has more than 35 years of experience in leasing and sales and more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. In her new role, she will complement the existing team and focus on retail leasing.
Prior to joining Ian Black Real Estate, Fitzgerald served as a senior associate for Crossman & Company in the Southeast Florida market.

During her career, Kim has represented landlords in the leasing of shopping centers from 20,000 square feet to over 250,000 square feet and has been responsible for portfolios in excess of 1 million square feet. She has been responsible for the Southeast Florida leasing portfolio for LRN Partners, Kitson & Partners, Nightingale Realty, Starwood Property Trust and Crow Holdings. Fitzgerald has also facilitated transactions with national tenants such as Publix Supermarkets, Ross Dress For Less, SunTrust Bank, Aveda, Staples and Dunkin Donuts.
