For the remainder of the month of September the five Pasco County Tax Collector Offices will be accepting donations on behalf of the Pasco Fire Rescue’s Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Boot Drive. After 60 years the traditional sight of a firefighter standing on a street corner, fire boot in hand, has been replaced with boots on the counter waiting for spare change to be dropped in. The Pasco Tax Collector’s Office is proud to participate for the second year in a row in this important fundraising event.
“Last year our generous customers donated over $2,000 to the Pasco County Fire Rescue Department’s efforts to raise money to fight this disease,” comments Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “Currently the MDA is funding 150 research projects around the world due in part to donations made by concerned individuals in this and other communities. Please stop by one of our five offices in Pasco and donate to help the MDA find new treatments for this terrible disease.”
Tax collector offices are located at the West Pasco Government Center, Gulf Harbors, Land O’ Lakes, Wesley Chapel and Dade City. For hours and locations please visit www.pascotaxes.com or call the centralized call center at (727) 847-8032, (813) 235-6076 or (352) 521-4338 for more details.
