TAMPA, FL – Partner Gregory C. Yadley continues to be a prominent figure in the Tampa Bay community and has been elected Chair of the Board of The Florida Orchestra (TFO), where he previously served as the Vice Chair of the Board and member of the Executive Committee. TFO is recognized as Tampa Bay’s leading performing arts institution, the largest professional symphony orchestra in Florida, and one of the most vibrant and innovative orchestras in America. TFO strives to enrich life, entertain, and educate a wide and diverse audience with the unique experience of live symphonic music.

Greg’s commitment to community extends beyond TFO; he has served as past Chair of Visit Tampa Bay, the Hillsborough County Arts Council, the City of Tampa Public Art Committee, and Leadership Tampa Alumni.
As Partner and Corporate, Tax and Transactions Regional Service Line Leader at Shumaker, Greg brings a wealth of experience to his representation of business entities, including closely held and family businesses, large and small public companies, and nonprofit entities. He has extensive experience in securities matters, including advising clients with regard to their private and public offerings of securities (initial public offerings) and their ongoing disclosure obligations. Practicing for more than 40 years, Greg understands how to address the divergent needs of multiple parties and brings them together in a successful transaction.
Greg’s practical, positive, and creative approach enables him to help his clients achieve their business objectives and find solutions to their business challenges.
When not practicing law, Greg enjoys engaging with and teaching other lawyers and law students. He taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, is a frequent lecturer, and a member of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee. He is a principal contributor to The Florida Bar Corporate Practice Manual and Chair of the annual Federal Securities Institute. Greg also served as the Chair of the American Bar Association’s Middle Market and Small Business Committee and The Florida Bar’s Business Law Section.
