BRADENTON – Executives from three leading Bradenton Area businesses will share priceless insights about leadership, adapting in a crisis, and what lies ahead during the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corp.’s (EDC) 2021 Annual Update luncheon on Friday, October 8, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Manatee Technical College, 6305 S.R. 70 in Bradenton.
The event also will include a briefing from EDC leaders on results from the organization’s work to foster job creation and diversify Manatee County’s economy. Additionally, the EDC will present the 2021 Rick Fawley Economic Development Award of Distinction to Rae Dowling, former area manager for external affairs at FPL. The award recognizes an individual’s outstanding contributions to moving the local economy forward.
Observer Media Group Editor and CEO Matt Walsh will guide the conversation as C-suite panelists talk about their unique paths to leadership, what they learned in 2020, and their perspectives on the future.
Panelists will include Fiona Crawford, world-class geneticist/biochemist and CEO of the Roskamp Institute; Tim Pernetti, sports marketing entrepreneur and COO of IMG Academy and IMG Performance; and Anish Patel, expert avionics engineer and president of Radiant Power Corp. and Dukane-Seacom.
