Dunedin’s Main Squeeze Invites the Local Community to Come Celebrate
Dunedin, FL (September 8, 2021) – Lane’s Lemonade is celebrating 2 years in business September 23, 2021. Located in the well-recognized red box car right on Pinellas Trail next to the History Museum it has quickly become a beloved destination for tourists and locals alike.
Dunedin’s “Main Squeeze” serves fresh pressed Lemonade, Orangeade, Limeade as well as the “famous” Orange Twist, an orange and vanilla soft serve. Bringing the citrus heritage of the area and the old trainline used to transport citrus along the coast, now Pinellas Trail, to life.
Under new ownership since May 2021, additional items have been added to the menu and Lane’s now offers freshly baked pretzels, coffee, and baked goods, all locally sourced. Additionally, Lane’s is now open 11 am – 8 pm Thursday-Sunday adding an extra day to its schedule.
Marie Todd, owner of Lane’s Lemonade, says “We are thrilled to celebrate 2 years in business, and we are so thankful for the love and support from the Dunedin community. I wish we could squeeze each and everyone of our guests.” Locals might just get that chance to be “squeezed” as Marie plans to don her lemon costume and hand out free birthday cookies to the first 100 guests on September 23, 2021, to celebrate this milestone.

About Owner Marie Todd:
Marie Todd was the VP of Licensing & Sales with Komar Brands (www.komarbrands.com) the world’s largest sleepwear company before becoming the owner of Lane’s Lemonade. In this function she negotiated all contracts with Disney, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon etc. to bring their characters to life on sleepwear in addition to heading up sales to Target stores. Like so many during the Covid era she decided to change her focus and career goals, and when her daughter moved to Florida to attend college, Marie followed. Having already fallen in love with Dunedin during previous trips, and having a daughter who was a Lemonade fan, buying Lane’s was a natural fit.
