Free Mental Wellness Sessions for Boys Offered by University Area CDC

WHO:        University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation)

WHAT:       Free mental wellness sessions for boys ages 12-14

WHEN:      Every Monday for six weeks, beginning Sept. 13,6 to 8 p.m. through Oct. 18

WHERE:     Harvest Hope Center at Harvest Hope Park, 13704 N. 20th Street, Tampa

DETAILS:   Boys ages 12 to 14 are offered free mental wellness sessions by University Area CDC through its Get Moving! program. 

                  Led by Licensed Cognitive Behavioral Therapist Crystal Clark, these mental wellness sessions aim to help boys focus and achieve success at all levels of their lives.  

Topics covered will include stress management, critical thinking, esteem building, goal setting, establishing healthy relationships, coping skills, self-awareness and effective communication.

                  Those interested should contact Ronnie Oliver at (813) 558-5212 x 310 or at roliver@uacdc.org. Limited space is available. To qualify, participants must agree in advance to attend every meeting. Face coverings/masks will be required.
