This will be SPIRITS of St. Petersburg fourth year participating in the World’s Largest Ghost Hunt (WLGH). This years event will be held at the Suntan Art Center on St. Pete Beach. The Suntan is housed in the historic Don Vista building, the place where famed architect Thomas Rowe stayed while building the (haunted?) Don Cesar hotel. Do some of the ghosts from the hotel revisit the building? Or does it have spirits of its own? Help us to find out!
What to expect: We will start as a group with a Paranormal Investigation 101. Following this, guests will break into groups and do a round robin of the art center’s major rooms where SPIRITS members will have equipment stations.
Each area will specialize in a different form of paranormal interaction: EVP/spirit boxes, SLS Kinetix camera, guided secular meditation for preparing for sensing a presence and finally, EMF meters/open questions. Members will also reveal spectral interactions in each room.
We encourage attendees to bring any paranormal equipment that they already have, but participants will also be able to observe activity via the SPIRITS’ member’s experience.
The entire event will be recorded with video and audio. There will be a LIVE! Stream on the internet during a portion of our evening.
In the “SPIRIT” of preserving historical places and the arts, half of your ticket amount will be donated to The Suntan Art center a 501c3 Non-Profit.
Seating is limited and we will follow COVID standards set by the Art Center (masks are required).
