SARASOTA COUNTY – Sarasota County’s Public Utilities Department is launching a new user-friendly bill payment options for customers. Starting Wednesday, Sept. 8, the new website offers a “Pay Now” function to make quick payments without registering an account. Enhanced functions for those who register an account allows for greater flexibility to make additional payments using credit or debit cards. In addition, the new payment system also offers the following features: Autopay and paperless statements. Payment reminders. View consumption, payment and bill history. A new automated phone system is also available for customers to quickly check their account balance, and use debit and credit cards to make payments. According to Public Utilities Director Mike Mylett, the new system will offer customers a safe, convenient and secure way to pay their bills. “As an organization we are always looking for innovative ways to provide the best services to the community. This new payment system is user-friendly and convenient, without sacrificing security,” Mylett added. To access the new system online visit the following link.
