TAMPA (Aug. 3 ,2021)—Congressman Charlie Crist will discuss his bid for governor at the Tampa Tiger Bay Club meeting on Friday, Aug. 20 at noon at the Cuban Club in Ybor City.
Crist has been a state senator, state education commissioner, state attorney general and governor. He’s been a Republican, an independent and a Democrat. Now Crist, who represents St. Petersburg in Congress, is running for the Democratic nomination for governor. He will explain why he’s running and take questions from Tiger Bay Club members.
The forum will be in the ballroom of the Cuban Club in Ybor City. Registration begins at 11:15 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at noon. Tickets are limited and can be purchased in advance at TigerBayClub.com.
