The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay has elected Mike Starkey as the Chair of its Board of Trustees.
Starkey is vice president of strategic account solutions at New York City-based LivePerson, an artificial intelligence tool that helps some of the world’s largest brands engage with online customers in a conversational way.
He has served on the Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees since 2014, and previously chaired its Governance and Investment committees. He was President of the Economic Club of Tampa in 2015, and his significant commitments to the community include the Outback Bowl, Hyde Park United Methodist Church, Easter Seals, and Metropolitan Ministries.

Oscar J. Horton, CEO of Tampa-based Sun State International Trucks, is Treasurer and Linda O. Simmons, president of Tampa-based R.R. Simmons, is Secretary. Robert H. Mohr, a Sun City Center, Florida-based attorney, is now Past Chair.
