Manatee County Habitat for Humanity Celebrates Selection as a Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program Beneficiary

Bradenton, FL – Manatee County Habitat for Humanity hasbeen selected  as a beneficiary of the Community BagProgram for the month of July.

The Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program, which  launched in February 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitatescommunity support with the goal to make  a difference in thecommunities where shoppers live and work.

Manatee Habitat was selected as the July  beneficiary of theprogram by store leadership at the Winn-Dixie located at 5805 Manatee Ave. Manatee Habitat will receive a $1 donationevery time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased atthis  location during July, unless otherwise directed by the

customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

A division of Manatee County Habitat for Humanity, Manatee Habitat ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used home furnishings, building materials, and appliances. Profits from the ReStore are used to help Manatee Habitat build more affordable housing in Manatee County.
