
Tampa, Fla. – June 22, 2021 – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that construction litigator Tyler J. Derr has joined the firm as senior counsel in Tampa.

Derr represents construction companies in complex commercial litigation. He counsels builders and developers in matters involving construction defect claims, liens, and contract disputes in residential and commercial properties, including single-family homes, condominiums, and hotels.
Earlier in his career, Derr served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mark A. Pizzo and the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Derr earned his J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law and his B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University.
