SARASOTA, Fla. — Halfacre Construction Company, a Lakewood Ranch-based commercial construction company, recently began renovations and construction on a North office and conference center for the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM).
Located at 2901 Manatee Avenue West in Bradenton, the current 7,200-square-foot facility will be completely renovated.
The new building will include a double wing auditorium, new roof design, reception center, REALTOR® store and conference rooms. New canopies will also be installed on the exterior of the current building. Inside, the renovation will include refreshed offices, conference rooms, bathrooms and a new auditorium for special events and real estate classes.
The building will become the second, full-sized RASM member facility, serving REALTOR® members and the business community in the region. In 2013, Halfacre Construction Company built RASM’s Sarasota site at 2320 Cattlemen Road.
“After a lengthy search for a location for our north facility, we are excited to begin extensive renovations for a first-class office and conference facility to conveniently serve our Manatee County members,” said Alex Krumm, president of RASM.
Construction started last month and is slated for completion in late 2021.
