COURTHOUSE LIVE
Hernando County Courthouse
20 N. Main Street
Historic Downtown Brooksville
6:00pm – 8:00pm
FREE ADMISSION
Courthouse Live will take place every Friday, with the exception of our 2021 Friday Night Live dates (September 10th, October 8th, and November 12th) when the festivities shift to Hernando Park. It’s our way of keeping the music playing in historic downtown Brooksville all year long. This Friday, May 21st, Brooksville Main Street welcomes Shawn Scheller!
Shawn Scheller is a singer-songwriter from the Tampa Bay area. Well known as the lead singer/guitarist for TazBull Record Recording Artist: Save The Radio, a modern rock band who were, as of recently, one of the top live draws in the region landing on the Billboard charts in 2014 and reaching #37 on the Mainstream Top 40 Indicator Chart. The live shows feature a mix of blue-eyed soul originals, Save The Radio songs, and cover material ranging from the 40’s Big Band era to what he refers to his “wheelhouse” music known as sax driven/yacht rockin’ retro ’80s.
Take an early trip downtown to explore our Florida Mermaid Trail, visit some of our one-of-a-kind shops, and grab a meal to go at one of our downtown restaurants. Bring a chair from home, or you can even dine under the beautiful oaks at our newly placed picnic tables at our historic courthouse. We’ll also have some sweet and savory treats to add to the local flair each week!
Brooksville’s Bites Nights are happening this Friday as well! Enjoy a wide variety of food and shopping along Brooksville Ave. near Fresh Pik’d Produce Market & Cafe and Country Depot.
