At its annual Pinnacle Awards on April 29, the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors (FGCAR) recognized Pat Marzulli, CCIM, SIOR, Executive Managing Director at Colliers, with the Henry Blanton Lifetime Achievement Award.
FGCAR is an organization serving commercial real estate professionals along Florida’s Gulf Coast. As an overlay Realtor™ organization, FGCAR serves a wide region with over 500 members, including alliance and affiliate members. FGCAR provides professional expertise and ethical accountability in the field of commercial real estate to its members and partners.
The Henry Blanton Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes FGCAR members who have had long-term professional success and have made significant contributions to the commercial real estate industry and to FGCAR.
“I was very surprised, very honored, and terrifically humbled because of the people who have won this before me.”
Pat Marzulli, Executive Managing Director, Colliers
Marzulli was a founding board member of FGCAR, which was established in 1993 and was one of the first organizations in the country to focus specifically on serving commercial real estate professionals, rather than the broader real estate industry. He served as FGCAR President in 2016 and has served as a non-voting board member for the organization since 2017.
“Pat has been instrumental in the success of FGCAR since its founding,” said FGCAR President Kevin R. Yeager, Senior Associate, Office Retail & Commercial Services for Colliers. “He has a number of important leadership and committee positions within the organization for decades, so this award is well-deserved.”
Having spent over 35 years in commercial real estate, Marzulli has been involved in nearly 1,000 commercial transactions, totaling tens of millions of dollars and several million square feet.
Marzulli specializes in the sales and leasing of office and industrial properties, with clients ranging from large multinational firms like AMP, Honeywell and Graybar to local business and professional firms. He also represents tenants and has worked with corporate clients such as Honeywell, Sherwin Williams and Stoneridge. Marzulli also works as a real estate instructor, consultant and building inspector for area lenders.
A lifelong resident of Pinellas County, Marzulli has held his Florida real estate license since 1975 and his Florida broker’s license since 1982. He also holds both the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designations. He earned an associate’s degree from St. Petersburg Junior College and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida State University.
