On May 1st, the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s Rally for the Cure – Fun Walk, Road Rally & Car Show will serve as a celebratory launch of National Cancer Research Month. The Tampa-based foundation has created two one-of-a-kind events that will span both sides of the bay. The festivities will begin on Bayshore Drive, adjacent to Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg with a 1-mile fun walk, and the start of The Motor Enclave Rally for the Cure which will end across the bay at Tampa’s outdoor social hub, Sparkman Wharf.
For a $10 donation, attendees can pre-register online for the walk or simply arrive at Vinoy Park at 9:00 am to walk a mile around the beautiful waterfront in support of pediatric cancer research. During their walk, guests will enjoy ocean views alongside an exceptional car show presented by The Motor Enclave, a 200 acre experiential automotive destination coming to Tampa in 2022.
The walk at Vinoy Park will take place from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. At 11:30, on-lookers will experience the roar of engines as the Motor Enclave Road Rally begins its procession with a Hillsborough County Sheriff escort across the bay concluding at Sparkman Wharf in the heart of Downtown Tampa. The cars will remain on display for car enthusiasts to view until 2 pm. These two family-friendly events are a wonderful way to spend your Saturday, support a great cause and enjoy the unique splendor that Tampa and St. Petersburg have to offer.
