St. Petersburg, FL — One year after shutting down for COVID-19, Massage Studio is proud to announce they have given over 100 free massages to extremely deserving healthcare workers from Baycare Health System.
Last year, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Massage Studio Donated a grand total of 230 massage gift certificates—with a value exceeding $20,000—to healthcare workers at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa and St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. Over 100 of those massages have now been redeemed.
These donations were made possible by Massage Studio’s monthly members. While Massage Studio locations were shut down in spring of 2020, monthly members had the choice to either temporarily suspend their membership or donate the massage they would have received that month to a deserving local healthcare worker. Massage Studio was overwhelmed to witness the support their members had for the community, and matched each donated massage one-for-one.
Now, a year later, 100 massages have been redeemed, and the number continues to increase. Massage Studio hopes to continue providing Tampa Bay healthcare workers the care and relaxation they deserve.
