Tampa, FL (April 14th, 2020) – Donna Huneycutt, President, and COO of WWC Global was elected President of the Tampa Bay Defense Alliance (TBDA) at the organization’s board meeting on April 14th. The Defense Alliance is a Tampa Bay non-profit that champions the defense community and works to improve the quality of life for service members in Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, Manatee, Hernando, and Citrus counties.
“Donna was the clear choice to lead our organization into the future. Her proven business prowess paired with her deep desire to serve military personnel and their families made her the ideal selection. The entire board and I are excited to see what the next chapter of TBDA will be under Donna’s leadership,” said outgoing TBDA President, Tim Jones.
Donna was nominated to this leadership position based on her more than sixteen years supporting the government contracting and defense industries in Tampa Bay.
The Tampa Bay Defense Alliance (TBDA) officers are elected annually and can be elected as many times as their six full years of service allow. All officers are elected by board discretion. An individual must be an active board member to be elected as president.
