We far exceeded our financial goal with donations still coming in. April 13, 2021 [St. Petersburg, FL] — On the evening of April 12, 2021, The Florida Holocaust Museum hosted our annual gala, To Life 2021. Over 385 screens viewed the virtual program from over 18 states! We are excited to report that thanks to the support of our community, we far exceeded the financial goal for last night’s event – with donations still coming in. The one-hour program was an opportunity for us to connect and share in The FHM’s mission of honoring the past to create a better tomorrow for all. Through our Survivors’ testimonies, they bestow upon us a powerful legacy of human values, morality, truth and honor. Their eyewitness testimonies teach us to be resilient even through the darkest of times. It reminds us that learning our history and being aware of our past are vital to ensuring that “never again” means something – not just for today, but for our future. We go forward with the reminder that lessons unlearned are lessons repeated.
