Brooksville, Florida (April 7, 2021) — Oak Hill Hospital announces the appointment of Alicia Osborne, BSN, RN, CMSRN, as Director of Patient Safety. Ms. Osborne will lead the hospital’s patient safety efforts through ensuring regulatory compliance and caregiver education.
Ms. Osborne comes to Oak Hill Hospital from Palms of Pasadena Hospital, where she served as nurse manager of a medical-surgical COVID unit. Prior to that, she served as a Patient Safety Coordinator at Morton Plant Hospital, a 613-bed facility in Clearwater, Florida. Ms. Osborne has been focused on reducing medical errors and patient harm, including overseeing efforts that reduced overall complications by 10 percent, reduction in pressure ulcers by 15 percent, and catheter-associated urinary tract infections by 67 percent.
Ms. Osborne is a Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Grand Canyon University in Arizona.
