Tampa, Florida and Tyngsboro, MA (April 6, 2021) – Piconics and Modelithics are pleased to announce the availability of three (3) new 3D geometry models for the CC19T40K240G5-C, CC21T36K240G5-C, and CC45T47K240G5C2 conical inductors from Piconics. These models are all included in the latest version, v21.1, of the Modelithics COMPLETE+3D Library for Ansys® HFSSTM.
The new models are validated through multi-substrate S-parameter measurements. Each model is validated through 67 GHz, making them well suited for broadband applications. The CC19T40K240G5- C conical inductor has an inductance value of 0.220 μH and a maximum current rating of 700 mA. The CC21T36K240G5-C conical inductor has an inductance value and a maximum current rating of 0.425 μH and 1,000 mA, respectively. Finally, the CC45T47K240G5C2 conical inductor has an inductance value of 0.840 μH and a maximum current rating of 160 mA. Potential use cases for these components include bias tees, broad-band filtering, and multiplexer applications.
