and a virtual music event make up this year’s schedule.
TAMPA, Fla. (March 27, 2018) – The sixth annual Tampa Bay Design Week will offer six different events, including five in-person, in Tampa and St. Pete, April 5thto April 10th. Architecture and design-related tours, an outdoor film at Green Bench Brewing, and a self-led driving tour of St. Petersburg Mid-Century Modern Architecture round out the week. Tampa Bay Design Week is produced by The Tampa Bay Foundation for Architecture and Design.
“We are delighted to be able to host Tampa Bay Design Week this year after having to cancel last year due to COVID-19” said Rachel Radawec, festival chair. “We have a great lineup of interesting and fun events in Tampa and St. Pete and are able to offer them safely with masks and social distancing. I believe people are eager to get out and enjoy and Design Week offers some great options to do so affordably.”
Design Week is a volunteer-led program which promotes the understanding and appreciation of architecture and design. It takes place each April. Plans are already in the works for Design Week 2022 which will feature an exhibit about world-renowned landscape architect Dan Kiley, who designed the original Kiley Garden in downtown Tampa.
