
Tampa, Fla. – The Straz has resumed live, in-person Arts Legacy REMIX performances on the Riverwalk Stage, which will continue through May. Arts Legacy REMIX celebrates the many varied cultures and talented local artists who reside in the Tampa Bay area. Each performance focuses on a different theme.
Friday, April 16: Arts Legacy REMIX: A Journey Through Central and Eastern Europe
- The rich cultural musical history and traditions of Germany, Ireland, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia Hungary, Switzerland, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Moldova will be honored during this melodic journey through Central and Eastern Europe.
Friday, May 21: Arts Legacy REMIX: Jazz, Jazz, Jazz - At this performance the focus will be on jazz, America’s greatest contribution to the musical landscape, with an emphasis on the big band sounds of Afro Latin Jazz. The Straz High School Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra will perform, as well as other acts.
All Arts Legacy REMIX performances will be held on Fridays, 7:30 to 9 p. m. on the Riverwalk Stage. Tickets are free and required in advance atwww.strazcenter.org. There is a $3.90 processing fee.
The Straz Center has received a seal of approval from Tampa General Hospital’s consulting service, TGH Prevention Response Outreach (TPRO), for our campus-wide reopening protocols.
