The chef-inspired, build-your-own bowl concept will celebrate its 10th location with ‘Friends and Family’ events on March 19 & 20, where guests will receive a free bowl with a suggested donation to a local nonprofit
TAMPA, FL (March 16, 2021) — Fresh Kitchen (FK), the popular quick service build-your-own-bowl concept, will officially open its 10th location on Monday, March 22, bringing its clean, healthy, made-from-scratch meals to New Tampa and the surrounding community for the very first time. The Grand Opening celebration and days following will feature numerous opportunities for guests to win exciting (and delicious!) prizes and giveaways, including everything from a free bowl to free catering for your company.
To kick off the opening week festivities, FK will host “Friends & Family” events on March 19 and 20, where guests will receive a free bowl for a suggested donation to FK’s community partner, Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, a local nonprofit focused on creating a cleaner, greener, more livable Tampa Bay.
Below is a schedule of Grand Opening events:
Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20: “Friends & Family” Celebration
– Free bowl for anyone who stops in and makes a (suggested $10) donation to Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful (You get a bowl! You get a bowl!).
– Available Friday for lunch (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and dinner (6 to 8 p.m.) and Saturday for lunch (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) only.
Monday, March 22: GRAND OPENING
– Cash Cannon – First guest in the store at 11 a.m. gets to play the Cash Cannon game (Grab as many – “Free Bowl” cards as you can, and you could be eating free for months!).
– Giveaways – First 50 guests will receive a free FK hat (they’re cool, we promise!), as well as a scratch off card with free menu item prizes (everyone’s a winner!).
– Catering raffle – All guests are invited to drop their business card into a fishbowl and one winner will receive free catering for their company for up to 20 people (you’ll definitely be everyone’s new favorite coworker!).
Tuesday, March 23 & Wednesday, March 24
– Hat and scratch off card giveaways continue for first 50 guests.
– Catering raffle for up to 10 people.
Tuesday, March 30: Ribbon Cutting Event
– 10:30 a.m. Ribbon Cutting Event with North Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
– Fresh Kitchen invites the community to celebrate with the FK team and local officials.
Fresh Kitchen invites guests to build their own chef-inspired bowls “as fast as they can point” with seasonal ingredients including fresh greens, sweet potato noodles, perfectly seasoned rices, roasted veggies, hormone and antibiotic-free grilled meats, responsibly sourced salmon, home-made sauces and flavorful add-ons. The entire menu is gluten-free with vegan options available and all food is prepared using 100% olive oil. Fresh Kitchen also offers fresh and convenient catering with options for sharable and individual meals that are perfect for businesses and sports teams, as well as families looking to make meal prep easy.
With COVID-19 in mind, Fresh Kitchen continues to follow best practices to create a safe environment. All team members at FK New Tampa will wear masks, complete daily health checks and undergo food safety and sanitation training. For additional convenience, FK New Tampa will also offer online ordering with contactless pick-up and delivery through third-party platforms like Uber Eats and DoorDash.
The New Tampa location will reveal a whole new look for Fresh Kitchen, introducing brand-new colors and textures into the brand’s signature vibrant pink and rose patterned features, as well as local art.
At 8648 Hunters Village Road, FK New Tampa is located next to Sprouts Farmers Market off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. Beginning March 22, it will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:35 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9:05 p.m. The restaurant can be reached by phone at 813-336-3800 and online orders can be placed at order.eatfreshkitchen.com.
Fresh Kitchen can also be found in Tampa’s Westshore and SoHo districts, as well as in St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Boca Raton, Davie, Downtown Orlando, East Orlando / Waterford Lakes and Lake Mary. An 11th location, in Gainesville, is also coming soon.
